2 Semesters - 1 Credit

This course will begin with the study of the causes and effects of the Civil War then move on to the economic transformation of America, the growth of railroads, and the development of big business. It will look at the United States becoming more involved in global affairs, World War I, the Depression, New Deal, World War II, the Cold War, Korean Conflict, Vietnam Conflict and will conclude with a look at the 1990’s with the Clinton administration. This course is aligned with the Oklahoma Academic Standards.​
